All Members, Winter Residents, Family and Friends,

On Maundy Thursday, we remember the day that Jesus celebrated the Passover with His disciples, but we also remember that He prayed in the Garden of Gethsemane, He was betrayed, and He was tortured for our sins. Let these prayers guide your thoughts on this day.

Jesus Prays for All Believers

20 “My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, 21 that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. 22 I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one— 23 I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me. 24 “Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world.25 “Righteous Father, though the world does not know you, I know you, and they know that you have sent me. 26 I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them.”  John 17:20-26

Jesus, the Son of God, even You prayed to Your Father in Heaven. You, who are one with the Father and the Holy Spirit, now and forever, still cried out in sorrow to the One who hears my prayers today. Let me not forget the great honor it is to approach God in prayer, and that I can only achieve that through Your mediation. In all my supplications, let me seek to be like You and pray that God's will be done in my life. Amen.

If you are so inclined we are having an Open House from 1PM to 4PM today for those of you who may desire Holy Communion.  It is more or less a self-directed Holy Communion and I have a sheet of paper for you to follow.

Tomorrow is Good Friday and we are going to try to “Live Stream” the service attached at 3:00PM.  This is all dependent on our team’s ability to be present to help.  One of our team in still working and cannot be here at all on Good Friday.  So if we are not up at 3:00PM check back at 6:00PM.  The service for Tomorrow is attached.

Have a blessed day!
