All Members, Winter Residents, Family and Friends,

          Greetings on this Tuesday morning!

The “Induction Service” for Vicar Deon Hull was wonderfully inspiring for Peace Lutheran Church in Okeechobee this past Sunday.  President Rockey had a wonderful message.  Vicar Hull’s wife Debra was also very outgoing and supportive of his ministry throughout many years of service within the L.C.M.S.  I will be serving as the Vicarage Supervisor for the next year evaluating and coaching him as he continues to develop his own Pastoral style envouraging his strengths and attitubutes as he grows in his responsibilities.

I thank everyone who worked in our absense this past Sunday to enhance your worship experience.  I hear that Rev. Bill Roberts had a good message for all of you.  This coming week there will be Communion as you come together for worship.  I pray you will all be able to come together to worhip the only True God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Over the past month it was concluded that it would be best that we purchase the new arm chairs for the sanctuary with memorial money that was received from the Story family in memory of Buck when he passed away.  It will take 12 to 14 weeks once they are ordered for the chairs to arrive.  So I hope to get them ordered by the end of the week.  Unfortunately they do not make the same chair, or have the same color so we are getting a color as close to what we have despite the fact that they may look a little different.  But when someone is sitting in one, looks really do not matter.

It has been told me that one or two people desire to know more about the final arrangements for Mr. Robert Lausman.

First there will be no service here in Lake Placid as per the family’s wishes.

Second there will be services in Michigan where the family has to cemetary plots and both Bob and Rose will be interned there.

Thirdly this service and final arrangements will be held either the first or second week in August.

Finally if anyone wants to send condolences to the family here is the address for Rick Lausman

This is all I know as I called Rick this morning to get this information from him.

I pray that you have a fantastic remainder of your week and make it fantastic for someone else as well!
