All Members, Winter Residents, Family and Friends,

          Greetings on this Wednesday afternoon!  Earlier this afternoon I was called out by the Highlands County Sheriff Office to function in the role of Victims Advocate for the of an elderly gentlemen killed in an automobile crash at Lake Clay Drive and U.S. 27.  A tragic accidents again demonstrating how fleeting life can be and how quickly we can be taken.  We should never take anything for granted.  Additionally it also reminds us to be very careful while driving even short distances.  He a his friend was just returning from a round of golf.

          Here is a note from the Ladies Guild;

          Ladies and gentlemen!  Are you looking for an outlet for you creative side?  Look no further.  Join us at 2PM this Friday at the Trinity Life Center for a crafting group.  We have tossed aroundsome ideas and look forward to YOUR ideas, too, for this community outreach opportunity and fund raising opportunity.  We are fortunate to have two accomplished crafters in our Trinity Family ready to answer questions and teach skills.  If you have a project started bring it along … we’d like to see it.  For more information contact Linda or Julie.

          Another opportunity is earlier Friday at 10AM when our Sewing Circle will meet in the Trinity Life Center.  Bring your sewing machine, scissors, thread and straight pins as well as you skills (seamstresses and tailors to help make children’s hospital gowns.  Jean Harrison will be happy to explain more about this exciting mission at the first meeting.  She has the material, patterns and bias tape to get started.  Call Jean is you have questions.

          This is Pastor again.  I have been examining my schedule for the fall and winter months and I have determined that I will not be able to move the Mid-Week Bible Study to Tuesdays as I thought.  I have meetings on two Tuesdays a month that I have to be at Community Pastor’s Prayer Partners and the Lake Placid Christian Ministerial Association.  I cannot move it to Thursdays as I have Circuit Meetings and Sheriff Chaplain Responsibilities on Thursday mornings.  So we will be keep our Bible Study in the New Trinity Life Center on Wednesday at 10AM.  A date will be determined as to when we will resume our study.

          Men please do not forget that we have our monthly Men’s Fellowship Breakfast this Saturday morning at 8:00 AM at Mainstreet America on Mainstreet just south of the intersection of Interlake and Mainstreet.
