Greetings on this Monday March 11, 2024! Many of you heard yesterday morning from President Mike Bardon that my Aunt Helen passed into Glory late Friday night. After discussion with my 4 cousins we have settled on Saturday April 13th, 2024 at 2:00PM for a Memorial Service here at Trinity. In lieu of flowers we are requesting that memorial be made to Trinity Tots Scholarship Fund or Trinity Lutheran Church Memorial Fund for items to be purchased at a later date. Thank you everyone for respecting our privacy and for your prayers.
Thank you to Pastor Olckers, Pastor McCoy and Mike Bardon for handling the service last week. It gave me the opportunity to visit Peace Lutheran Church, Okeechobee and observe Vicar Hull in person. He does a great job!
Holy Week Schedule will be Palm Sunday 10:00AM.
Maundy Thursday with Holy Communion 4:00PM.
Good Friday 4:00PM.
Easter Sunday one service at 10:00AM.
At the Church Council meeting this morning we decided that there will be an Easter Breakfast in the Trinity Life Center starting at 8:30AM. There will be sign up sheets in the hall for those who will be preparing food and those who will be attending.
There is going to be a Church Work Day on April 6th, 2024. Time to be determined.
I have attached my sermon for Sunday which is the 5th Sunday in Lent.
