Our Trinity Tots Staff
Susan Norris
Mrs. Norris is the Director of Trinity Tots and has also served as one of our VPK teachers. She started the program in 1989 and has loved every minute of caring for and nurturing all the young children who have come through the preschool’s doors. She grew up in New Jersey and received her B.S. Degree in Education from Concordia College, NY but was thrilled to move here to Lake Placid, FL in 1988 to be in a warmer climate! She and her husband Rev. Norris, have 4 children and 3 grandchildren. Mrs. Norris loves to sing, bake, play with her grandchildren and relax on a cruise ship.
Amanda Hurm
Amanda has been teaching at Trinity Tots since 2001. She teaches one of the 4 year old VPK classes. Amanda enjoys seeing her students learning, exploring, and discovering new things each day. When she is not teaching, she enjoys going to Disney World and playing with her dog and two cats.
Desiree Escobar
Mrs. Escobar started working at Trinity Tots in August 2019 as a 4 year old VPK teacher. She is married and has 3 sons. She received her Bachelors in Education from the University of South Florida. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
Sarah Harris
Mrs. Harris started working at Trinity Tots in March of 2022 as a 3 year old teacher. She was born in Pennsylvania but grew up living 6 months in PA, and 6 months in Lake Placed and later moved to Lake Placid full time with her husband. She attended Edinboro university in Pennsylvania and studied preschool education. Her husband and her have 3 sons who she enjoys spending time outdoors with fishing, camping and going to the beach.
Alicia Pepper
Mrs. Pepper began working at Trinity Tots in August of 2023. She teaches in one of our -3yr. old classrooms and is also the Assistant Director. She has been working in early childhood since 2008. Mrs. Pepper is married, has 3 daughters to whom she homeschools. She enjoys her small farm, butterfly garden, and reading when she is not teaching
Harriet Josleyn
My name is Ms. Harriet Josleyn and I am in charge of the Aftercare Program and a teacher’s assistant. I was born in Spain but I left there when I was a baby. I just love all my animal pets: 2 dogs, 2 cats, 5 hens, 2 ducks and 1 guinea pig. I hope, one day, to own a small dwarf goat. When I’m not teaching or caring for my animals, I love to see what treasure are in thrift stores and Goodwill stores.
